James Frank Jackson. 96, of Eldon died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 1986, at Chastains Nursing Home in Jefferson City. He was born March 14, 1890 to Benjamin H. and Leona Jennie Madole. On Jan. 17, 1924 he was married in Okeman, Okla. to Ella B. McGee, who survives in Eldon.

Mr. Jackson lived in the Eldon area all of his life and had been a farmer. He was a member of the Aurora Springs Baptist Church and Barracks 1442, Veterans of World War I.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Jackson is survived by a daughter, Naomi Vernon of Eldon; a son, Harold Jackson of Prairie Village, Kan.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lula Foote of Sedalia.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Aurora Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Martin officiating. Burial was in the Eldon Cemetery under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home. Grandsons served as pallbearers.
