Walter Alexander Johnson. Merchant Marines during WWII. Employed by Esso/Exxon Corporation for many years as a ship's Captain. At the request of Exxon Corporation, Walter came out of retirement in order to take Exxon's newest oil tanker, the Exxon Valdez, on its maiden voyage. Married twice and at his request, is buried between his two loving wives.
