LEMUEL O. THOMPSON (Los Banos)
A service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Franklin & Downs-McHenry Chapel for Lemuel O'Neal Thompson, 88, who died Monday in Los Banos.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today in the chapel. Burial will be Thursday in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mr. Thompson had moved to Los Banos seven months ago after living in Modesto for 27 years. He was born in Fayetteville, Ark., and moved to California in 1940.
He was a truck driver and a member of the Baptist Church. He served in the US Army during World War I.
He is survived by his wife Lula D. Thompson of Los Banos, four sons and three daughters, a brother, 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-greatgrandchild.
