Estella Boyd was born August 12, 1879 in Republic County, Kan near Narka and passed away Nov. 7, 1945 at the Patterson Memorial hospital (sic) at Belleville, Kan. at the age of 66 years, 2 months and 26 days.

She moved in early childhood to Thayer County, Neb. seven miles from Hubbell with her parents and at the age of eleven years moved to Hubbell where she lived until she was united in marriage to Frank Elmer Boyd in 1899 and moved to a farm east of Hubbell until 1901 when they moved to a farm 5 miles north of Munden Kan. To this union were born five children. George of Richmond, Calif., Frank, of Chester, Neb.; Mrs. Charles Vizner of Munden Kan.; Lee Boyd who is serving in the Navy and Cecil who preceded her in death on March 10, 1936.

Besides her husband and immediate family she leaves to mourn her death, 8 grandchildren and 1 brother, Lee Shoup of Hebron, Nebraska and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at the home 2 miles east of Chester on Friday, Nov. 9 and burial in the Hubbell cemetery sic), Rev. W.H. Clark of Fairbury officiating.

To the sacred name of 'Mother.'
