Obituary From Esther Green's Funeral Program:

On March 11, 1927, a baby girl was born to George and Mary Flemmons in Tullahassee, Oklahoma. They named her Will Esther. She was the fifth girl born in this family. She confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized under the late Rev. J. C. Hickman. As a girl she was active in church and was loved by all who knew her. She attended grade school at Carter G. Woodson in Tullahassee, Oklahoma and later attended Manual Training High School in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

After finishing school, she gave birth to three children a son Arnold, a daughter, Mary,and a son Norman who preceded her in death.

She later met and married John Henry Green. To this union no children were born.

God called her to rest after a lengthy illness, Thursday morning, April 19, 1979, at 8:00 AM in Muskoge General Hospital.

She leaves to mourn her loss, a husband, John Henry Green, 1 son, Arnold Jones of Muskogee, Oklahoma, 1 daughter, Mary E. Beard of Muskogee, Oklahoma, 4 grandchildren, Cardis who she reared as a son until her health began to fail her; Byron, Kimberly and Arnesha, all of Muskogee, Oklahoma, a father, George Flemmons of Tullahassee, Oklahoma, a step-mother, Mrs. Ada B. Flemmons of Tullahassee, Oklahoma, 5 sisters: Georgia Mae Gasque of Baltimore Maryland, Ida B. Jones of Gibson Station, Oklahoma, Carrie Grayson of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Liberia Miller of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Berthetta Ridge of San Pablo, California, and a half sister Dorothy Flemmons of Tullahassee, Oklahoma; 3 brothers, James Flemmons of Tulsa, Oklahoma, G. W. Flemmons of Tullahassee, Oklahoma and Richard Flemmons of Minneapolis, Minnesota; 2 aunts: Bertha Harlin of Denver, Colorado and Orgia L. Smith of Tullahassee, Oklahoma; 1 great aunt, Bessie Cornwell of Tulsa, Oklahom and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
