Thomas Eugene Fix, 91, of Lexington, died Friday, April 14, 1995, at Heritage Hall Nursing Home, Lexington. Born January 12, 1904, in Rockbridge Co., he was the son of the late John Baxter and Margaret Brown Beatty Fix. Mr. Fix was a member of the Lauderdale A.R.P. Church and was a retired welder for Columbia Gas. Co. with over 35 years service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Alberta Fix, and a brother, John Baxter (Bud) Fix. Surviving are one daughter, Juanita B. Kidwell, Gaithersburg, Md.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 17, 1995, at 11 a.m. from the Harrison Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Zeb Carson Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Stonewall Jackson Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Harrison Funeral Home.
