ADAM DARLEY DIES AT CHERRY DELL
Funeral services for Adam Darley, 81, well known resident of Cherry Dell community, were held Thursday afternoon at 2:30, in Bethany Baptist church, with the Rev. C. E. Chappell in charge. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Darley died at his home, Tuesday, July 29, at 9:45 p. m. He had been ill health for several years. A native of Germany, he was born May 30, 1860, and at the age of about two years come to this country with his parents, Frank and Josephine Darley. He was married in Lewis county. Mo., to Miss Christine Streeter who died 17 years ago. For many years he farmed extensively in Marion county and was a prominent resident.
Surviving are three sons, Charles Darley of the home, Robert Darley of Steffenville and William Darley of Nelsonville, four grandchildren, Geraldine and Pauline Darley of Steffenville and Idaline and Jane Darley of Nelsonville; and one sister, Mrs. Josie Bauerrichter of Shelbyville.
