The 15-year-old son of Adam Darley of Nelsonville, was drowned this morning in the Fabius river by the overturning of a load of hay on which he was riding.

A young man by the name of Adam Darley, living near Steffenville, was drowned last Tuesday in a stream near that place. He and his father were driving along the bank of the stream with a load of straw when one of the sled runners struck a stump throwing the straw into the stream together with the young man who was pinned under the straw. His father who was not injured went for help, but before young Darley could be gotten out he was drowned.

Locust Grove.
Freddie Darley was killed Wednesday morning by a sled load of straw turning over on him, he fell in water about four feet deep. Funeral services were held at Bethany Thursday, conducted by Rev. Scott.
