She is preceded in death by her husband Leslie C Seely Jr and their son Clifford Young Seely.
Flora grew up in Panguitch, Utah, the third of four sisters. Her mother died when she was only 7. Her father married LaReta Cameron Lynn in 1941. Later the family moved to Gunnison, Utah, where Flora graduated from Gunnison High School in 1945.
She served as the town clerk of Redmond from 1954-1955. As an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Flora loved music and enjoyed singing in several different choirs as well as serving in numerous callings in the church.
For the past 30 years or more Flora has worked tirelessly doing genealogy specifically for the name extraction program. She was one of the few that could read Latin films.
Flora is survived by her children, LaReta Seely (Ron) Blackham, Mesa, Arizona and Michael June (Jackie) Seely, Mona, Utah. Flora has 6 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday April 14, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cedar City LDS 14th Ward Chapel (1650 W Center St). Friends and family may attend a viewing Friday evening, April 13, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Southern Utah Mortuary, located at 190 North 300 West in Cedar City, Utah and on Saturday April 14, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at the Cedar City LDS 14th Ward Chapel (1650 W Center St).
Interment will be at the Redmond City Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday April 14, 2012 under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary (435) 586-4040. Online condolences can be made at www.sumortuary.com
