HYNDMAN - Dalton A. Fichtner, 79, RD 1, died late last night at the Lions Manor Nursing Home, Cumberland. Born October 11, 1892 at Palo Alto, RD 1, Hyndman, he was a son of the late John L. and Elsie (Hosselrode) Fichtner. He was a member of Palo Alto Methodist Church. Surviving are his widow, Florence (Campbell) Fichtner, two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Cook, here and Mrs. Robert Brode, Bedford, Mass.; one son, Arden Fichtner, Grand Valley, Pa.; one sister, Mrs. Russell Emerick, here, ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The body is at the Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman. Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. with Rev. J. Howard Smith, pastor of Palo Alto United Methodist Church, officiating.
