Betty E. Osmond, age 75, died Friday July 13, 2001 at Mercy Health system. She was born on July 20, 1925 in Janesville, the daughter of Harold A. and Margaret A. [Hathorn] Schachtschneider. Margaret attended St. Mary's Grade School, and graduated from Janesville High School. She has been a Janesville resident all her life. She married Carl F. Osmond on July 14, 1945 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Janesville. Margaret worked at Parker Pen Co. for 40 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, V.F.W. Auxilliary 1621; she enjoyed collecting dolls, traveling, camping, and the outdoors. She was preceded by her parents.
