Isola C. Parsons, 85, former Muncie resident and widow of Raymond A. Parsons, died Tuesday at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville.
She was born in Kirkland, Ind., and came to Muncie as a teenager. She had lived in Noblesville for about 25 years.
She was a past matron of Garland Chapter 15, of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of Delta Theta Tau sorority.
Surviving are three daughters, Mary Helen Loh, Noblesville, Martelle Jones, Boca Raton, Fla., and Imogene Outland, Miami Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Thelma Page, Anderson, and Georgia Bond, Frankfort, along with three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Meeks Mortuary with Rev. Charles Durkee officiating. Entombment will follow in Elm Ridge Mausoleum. Friends may call at the mortuary from 6-9 p.m. today and one hour before services on Thursday.
