Erma Staats
Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. for Mrs. Erma I. Staats, 69, of 506 4th St., Chester, who died Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at the East Liverpool Convalescent Center following a long illness.
She was born Nov. 16, 1906, in East Liverpool, a daughter of Charles Capehart and Veva Tucker Capehart. She was a lifelong resident of the area, having resided for a time at Cream Ridge Rd.
She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. Her husband, William Otmer Staats, died Oct. 31, 1959.
She is survived by a daughter, Miss Eva Mae Staats, at home; a twin sister, Mrs. Emma Foden of East Liverpool; another sister Miss Elizabeth Capehart of Jamestown, N. Y.; a brother, Dale C. Capehart of East Liverpool, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at the Dawson Funeral home by the Rev. Oval Stone, assisted by the Rev. Clark Allison of the Wellsville Nazarene Church. Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home this afternoon or tonight.
