Maycel Angel Collins age 71 of Franklin passed away April 9, 2012 at Atrium Medical Center. She was born April 5, 1941 in Jackson, KY the daughter of Hyden and Laura Campbell. She worked at Carlisle Nursing Home as a nurse's aid for 13 years taking care of people and loved what she did until retiring.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Elisha; two brothers, Kendall Gross and Mason Campbell; and two sisters, Lou Ellen Lewis and Helen Osborne.
Maycel is survived by her son, Carlos Angel (Janie); two daughters, Beatrice Bachert (Eric) and Becky Graham (Bryan) two brothers, Floyd Gross and Carliss Gross (Virginia); and her companion, Clair Angel. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Sara, Matthew, Heather, Kyle, Melinda, and Rachelle; great grandchildren, Collin, Hunter, and Everlee, and numerous family and friends. The family would like to thank the ICU and CCU at Atrium Medical Center for their loving care of our dear mother.
Funeral service will be Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Anderson Funeral Home (Franklin). Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Friday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery. www.anderson-fh.com
