She was a native of Watauga County, born January 27, 1932, to Reverend Lawrence and Bettie Mae Trivette Hagaman.
Mrs. Trivett was a homemaker and a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, a daughter, her step-mother, Mrs. Annis Hagaman, three brothers, two sisters, three grandsons, one great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Henry Trivett; an infant child; her parents, Reverend Lawrence and Bettie Mae Hagaman; two brothers, Kermon and Ralph Hagaman and two sisters, Jessie Lee Yates and Wilma Puckett.
Services were conducted wednesday evening at 8 o'clock at Austin & Barnes Funeral Chapel, officiated by the Reverends Derek Wilson and Eric Cornett.
Graveside services and burial will be conducted at 11 o'clock at the Trivett Cemetery.
Austin & Barnes Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
