He was born March 4, 1930 in Watauga County, to Reverend Lawrence and Betty Mae Trivette Hagaman. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was a Baptist minister.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Jones Hagaman, a daughter, a son, six grandchildren , one great-grandchild, his step-mother, Annis Hagaman, three sisters, three brothers and a sister-in-law.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Matthew Len and Voughn Kermon Hagaman; three sisters, Wilma Puckett, Jessie Lee Yates and Willis Hagaman and one brother, Ralph Hagaman.
Services were conducted Monday afternoon at 2 p.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church, officiated by the Reverends James Hagaman and Ray Greene. Burial followed in the Trivette Cemetery.
Austin & Barnes were in charge of the arrangements.
