Eary took his own life at the farm of his brother Henry Sharp six miles NE of Blackwell with a shotgun.Relatives state they beleive the action was prompted by his health.
The deceased served with the A.E.F. in France with Wagon Company No. 100. The American Legion will accord the deceased military honors at the funeral. He was born March 22, 1888 in Council Grove, KS, but moved to Oklahoma in 1895 with the Sharp family. He has been in this state practially ever since with the exception of the time of his servise in the Army.
Among the survivors are Roe Sharp of Blackwell, Earnest Sharp of Arkansas City, Kansas,and General Sharp of Blackburn,Ok and three sisters, Mrs. John Carr, 409 E. McKinley Av., Mrs. Inez Cather of Maramac, OK and Mrs. Frances Rich of Yale, OK.
