Married 1st abt 1848 to Elizabeth REINARD (1825-1870) and they had 6 children: Susanna KATZ (1849-1876), John Milton 1853-1936), George William (1854-1876), Mariah Katherine "Kate" KING (1857-1923), Sarah Euphema (1861-1861), and Mary Matilda CALLEN (1865-1932).

Married 2nd on 20 Mar 1872 to Salome REINARD (1841-1934) and they had 4 children: David Henry (1872-1920), Benjamin Franklin (1876-1878), Jesse Rinard (1880-1946), and Minola Belle DAVIS (1885-1971.
