Lifelong resident
WATSONTOWN --M. June Baker, 63, of 227 E. Seventh St., died at 1:51 a.m. Monday, Jan. 20, 1992, in emergency room of Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg. She had been in ill health for the past six months.
She was a lifelong resident of Watsontown, where she was born Dec. 8, 1928, the daughter of Dorothy (Moll) Young, Watsontown, and the late Charles H. Young. She was married to W. Eugene Baker. They observed their 43rd wedding anniversary Oct. 29.
She was a 1947 graduate of Watsontown High School.
She was a retired employee of Masonite Corp. Earlier, she was employed at Philco-Ford Corp., Watsontown.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by two daughters, Linda D. Ackley of Wrightstown, N.J., and Kay Zeigler of Chesapeake, Va.; one son, William Eugene Jr. of Waynesboro; five grandchildren; three sisters, Jane Heim of Watsontown, Doris Mac Gohn of Maryland and Shirley Ann Long of Lakehurst, N.J.; and two brothers, Richard Eugene Young of Montgomery and William Paul Young of Milton.
She was precede in death by a son, Gary, in 1958; two infant brothers; an another brother, James Larue Young.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Cronrath Funeral Home, 308 Main St., Watsontown, by the Rev. Paul Bench, pastor of First Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Watsontown Cemetery...
