Minnie A. Good

Minnie A. Good, 91, Polo, passed away in her home early Wednesday morning Nov. 12, following a lingering illness. Mrs. Good was born in Carroll county Feb. 8, 1867, daughter of Edwin and Adeline Rogers Dew. She was united in marriage to Samuel P. Good, Nov. 27, 1894.
Mrs. Good was a member of the Methodist church and a charter member of the Utopian Circle.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Orville (Ruth) Bausman, Polo; Mrs. Steven (Imelda) Drew, Waukegan; one brother, William Dew, Polo; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two daughters and twin brothers.
Funeral services were held from the Polo Methodist church Saturday afternoon with Rev. Ben White officiating. Mrs. Harvey Cashman sang two selections and was accompanied at the organ by Miss Carolyn Stoner.
Pallbearers were Orville Bausman, Stephen Drew, Ed Lang, Carl Smith, Milford Stain, Ralph Wagner. Burial was made in Fairmont Cemetery. Arrangements were completed by McNabb funeral home.
