EAST HARPSWELL - Winfred Tripp, 82,
formerly of Auburn, died Friday at
Regional Memorial Hospital, Brunswick
following a long illness.
Born at New Gloucester March 29,
1885, he was the son of George and
Emma Rich Tripp. He was educated in
Gloucester schools and married Bertha
M. Peare in Auburn, Jan. 30, 1908.
Mrs. Tripp died in Brunswick, Aug. 21,
1964. He was a painter for Bath Iron
Works, retiring in 1952.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs.
Dorothy McKinnon and Mrs. Patricia
Davis, both of East Harpswell, and
several brothers and sisters.
