POLAND - Ernest Tripp, 79, died
Monday at the Brunswick Memorial
Hospital, where he has been a patient
one month.

Born in West Poland, Aug. 3, 1890, he
was the son of George and Emma Rich
Tripp. He resided in Brunswick for two
and a half years, and lived in Poland
most of his life. Before retirement he
was a carpenter.

Surviving are a son, Carroll Tripp,
Brockton, Mass.; three daughters, Mrs.
Keither Smith, Poplarville, Miss., Mrs.
Ernestine Cropper, Truxton, NY, Mrs.
Benard McLaughlin, Jacksonville, Fla.;
three brothers, Harold, West Poland,
Edward, Bridgeton, Clarence, Crescent
Lake; four sisters, Mrs. Edith Benson,
Reading, Mass., Mrs. Jennie McCormack,
South Paris, Mrs. Agnes Winslow, Crescent
Lake, and Mrs. Maggie Chaplin, Westbrook;
17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

At Brunswick, Sept. 1, Ernest Tripp, Funeral
services will be help Friday at 2 p.m. from
the Tucker Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St.,
Mechanic Falls. Interrment Highland Cemetery,
West Poland. Friends may call at the funeral
home, Thursday evening 7 to 9.
