Mrs. Jessie Curry Bowyer, 89, of 515 41st St. S.E., died March 15, 1987, at home after a long illness.

She was a member of St. Peters Methodist Church, St. Albans, and was a retired merchant.

Surviving: brothers, Clyde and Claude Curry, both of Charleston; sister, Mrs. Virginia C. Beury of Charleston.

Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Park with the Rev. Joseph Casey and the Rev. James Fisher officiating.
