Virginia Curry Beury, 97, of Charleston died Thursday, July 11, 2002, in Heartland of Charleston.
She was a retired secretary for Charleston General Hospital with 20 years of service.
She was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church, Charleston.
Mrs. Beury was born in Lincoln County and was a resident of Kanawha County for 90 years. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Beury.
She is survived by her three nieces, Margaret McClure of Sherman, Texas, Ann Curry Piazza and Billy Curry Kirk, both of Newark, Del.; one nephew, Edward Curry of Virginia Beach, Va.
Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2002, at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Charleston with the Rev. Mark Fisher officiating. Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek is in charge of arrangements.
