Moses, the first son of Joseph Stickney (1705-1756) and Jane Pickard (1704-1735) was born at Boxford February 13 1729 and was married there to Abigail Hale August 28 1750. He was a private soldier in Capt. William Thurlow's company and served through the Revolutionary War. He married Abigail Hale on August 28, 1750, in Boxford, Massachusetts. He had eleven children and died in Springfield, VT August 11 1819 at 91 years old.
