Former Montgomery, AL resident Joe Ben Cook, 48, passed away Saturday, March 15th in a Smyra, GA hospital following a long illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, March 17th at the Castelaw Funeral Home in Marietta, GA.

Survivors include his wife Irene Gail Cook of Marietta; one son, Jack Cook of Marietta; three daughters, Mary Ann Pruitt, Kathleen Cook, and Nancy Cook all of Marietta; two sisters, Martha (Clifford) Thomas of Montgomery and Virginia (Maynard) Reagan of Goodwater; and one brother, Charles (Frances) Cook of Hazel Park, MI and a host of nieces and nephews.
