DICKINSON — Kenzie L. Meyer, of Dickinson, died Tuesday, April II, 1989, at his residence.

Services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday, April 13, 1989, at Faith Lutheran Church of Dickinson. The Rev. Michael Button will officiate.

A graveside service is set for 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Schulenburg City
Cemetery in Schulenburg, Texas.

Arrangements are under the direction of the James Crowder Funeral Home of Dickinson.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at
the funeral home in Dickinson.

Born Nov. 28, 1917, in Schulenburg, Texas,

Mr. Meyer was a maintenance engineer in material procurement for Union
Carbide in Texas City.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia L. Meyer of Dickinson; a daughter, Billye Pawlik; son-in-law, Robert J. Pawlik; sister, Geneva Michalke; and brother-in-law, Erwin Michalke; two grand children, Lance and Richard Pawlik.

Mr. Meyer served hi the armed forces Medical Detachment for five years during World War II. He married Virginia Long of Dickinson, Texas, November 15,1942. He received a B.S. degree from the University of Houston in 1949. He was employed by Amoco Chemicals following graduation for a short while, prior to employment at Union Carbide in Texas City, Texas for 37 years, in Maintenance and Engineering in material procurement. He was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Dickinson, Dickinson Masonic Lodge No 1324 A.F. and A.M.

Pallbearers will be Chester Pawlik, Sam J. Salvato Jr., Bill Gilbert, Rudy Halvorsen, Eddie Bauer, Frank Johnson. Honorary pallbearers are Ward MeCollough, John Pawlik, Jay Rogers, James Flowers, James G. Vletas, Vernon Coers, Anthony Salvato and Trae Gilbert.

Memorials may be sent to Galveston County Hospice, 1215 44th
Street, Galveston.
