Services for Loyd Barker, 68, were today at Reed's Chapel in Lexington with Eulane Walker officiating. Burial was in Lewis Cemetery in Wildersville.
Mr. Barker, a retired farmer, died Monday morning at the Jackson General after a long illness. He had lived many years in Wildersville.
Surviving are his wife, Gladine Lewis Barker; a daughter, Melissa Dean McCullar of Jackson; two sons, David L. of Jackson and Sammy G. of Wildersville; a sister, Ardell Vineyard of Reagan; a brother, Thedus Barker of Lexington; and five grandchildren.
