Mr. Barker, who was 72, died Tuesday at the Methodist Hospital of Lexington. He was a retired salesman for Malone and Hyde Inc., a World War II Navy veteran and a Baptist.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Opal [McPeake] Barker of Lexington; two sons, Ronald Barker and Donald Barker, both of Lexington; a daughter, Kay Barker of Lexington; a sister, Mrs. Ardell Vineyard of Lexington; and three grandchildren.
