Anna Mae Williams of Hot Springs passed away Saturday, March 24, 2012 at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

She was born December 1, 1930 in Bergman, Arkansas to Walter and Lenora (Cook) Kirk. Anna graduated from Bergman High School, married Frank Williams and they moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where she worked for Warren Petroleum Company until retirement. She and Frank moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas in 1982 and bought a home on Lake Hamilton.

She is survived by her sister, Juanita Butler of Russellville, Arkansas; brother, J.S. Kirk of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sisters Emma Hancock of Bentonville, Arkansas and Dorothy Moore of Harrison, Arkansas; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Anna loved the horse races and she had not missed an opening day (until this year) in 50 years. She enjoyed entertaining and having family and friends in her home. Anna was a member of Bergman Methodist Church.

She had no children of her own but was especially caring to her many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Graveside services will be held at York Cemetery in Bergman, Arkansas on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison, AR.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bergman Methodist Church, P.O. Box 8, Bergman, AR 72615.
