Elizabeth Maddocks was born in London, England, about 1671. The exact date and the names of her parents are unknown at this time.

Elizabeth Maddocks (or Maddox) was married twice. First husband was James Denn born 1667. They were married 24 Jul 1689 (U.S. Quaker Meeting records, 1681-1935). James Denn died 17 Aug 1693 (New Jersey, Abstract of Wills, 1670-1817). Her second husband was Ephraim Allen.

She married Ephraim Allen on 23 January 1693 in Salem, Salem County, New Jersey. It is not known at this time when she immigrated from England to America.

One of their children was Jedidiah Allen (1695-1795).

She died about 1725 in Salem, Salem County, New Jersey.

THANK YOU to BSnyder for information on Elizabeth's first marriage. However, either the death date for James Denn or the marriage date to Ephraim Allen must be incorrect, as currently, it appears that Elizabeth married Ephraim before James died. I do not know what the correct dates are, but wonder if James died in 1692 rather than 1693.)
