MRS. BERTHA STAMPER, 59, IS DEAD AT GRANGEVILLE
Mrs. Bertha A. Stamper, 59, wife of E. F. Stamper, well known citizen of Lewiston, formerly of Melrose, died Thursday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mabel Kennedy, where she had been visiting.
Mrs. Stamper was born at Kirksville, Mo., and her marriage to Mr. Stamper was solemnized at Sublett Station, Mo, March 4, 1894. The family came to Idaho in 1900 and for 21 years, resided on a farm at Melrose, moving to Lewiston 14 years ago.
She is survived by a widower, E. F. Stamper, two daughters, Mrs. Iva Kissinger, Yellow Pine; Mrs. Mabel Kennedy, Grangeville; C. E. Stamper and C. L. Stamper, Spokane; Glenn Stamper, Longview, Wash.; W. R. Stamper, Lewiston; also two sisters and four brothers; Mrs. Jennie Marquam, Curlew, Wash.; Mrs. Verna Nifong, Waitsburg, Wash.; W. B. Huett and Guy Huett, Curlew; George Huett and J. Huett, Culdesac.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Brower-Wann chapel, interment to be at Normal Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Stamper was a member of the Neighbors of Woodcraft, Clarkston.

MRS. E. F. STAMPER RESTS - FUNERAL SERVICE HELD SUNDAY; BURIAL AT NORMAL HILL - Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Brower-Wann chapel for Mrs. E. F. Stamper, the Rev. William Kohl officiating. Music was furnished by Mrs. Ruth Fraser, accompanied by the Rev. F. W. Westwood.
Interment was at Normal Hill Cemetery. The pallbearers were Dick Chapman, Alvin Small, John Dau, James Kissinger, Lester Tremblay and Art Horsman.
