Vonie Kell, 79, Russell Springs, passed away Sunday, May 19 at the University of Louisville Hospital. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, Joe (Judy ) Fisher, four daughters, Barbara (Kermit) Hadley, Columbia, Mitchelene (J.W.) Denton, Columbia, Cheryl (Carl) Posey and Kathy (Coy) Bray, both of Russell Springs, four brothers, Elmer Rooks, Edinburgh, IN, Raymond Rooks, Taylorsville, IN, Omar Rooks, Indianapolis, IN and Elvin Rooks, Shelbyville, IN. and nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Wednesday, May 22 in the chapel of the Bernard Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Goff and Bro. Paul Hart officiating. Special music was provided by God�s Children.
Interment was in the Providence Cemetery. Pallbearers were Eddie Fisher, Kevin Bray, Mark Hadley, Robert Knight, Clay Roy, and Paul Milligan.
Bernard Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
