Zachariah Morris died at his residence, near Coloma, Indiana, November 2, 1887, in the ninetieth year of his age.
He was born in Wayne County, North Carolina, April 25, 1798, and reoved to this state and county in the spring of 1833, and was residing at the time of his death upon the same farm and near the same spot, where he settled fifty-three years ago. He was a consistent member of the Friend's church, in which he occupied the station of elder for many years. He lived and died in the faith and hope of a blessed immortality with the Sainte in light.
