Obituary - Charles J. Early, 83, of 231 E. Market Street, Bethlehem, died yesterday morning in the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bell, Bath R 1. He retired 15 years ago from the structural engineering department of the Bethlehem Steel Corp. Born in England, he was a son of the late William E. and Ellen (Early) Early. His wife, Florence (Fletcher) Early, died in 1955. He was a member of the Cathedral Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem. Besides Mrs. Bell he is survived by a son, Charles E. of Bethlehem, Ellen of Bethlehem, and Mrs. E.O. Miles of Atlanta, Ga.; four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Richard Rowe and Mrs. Albert Hunt, both in England. Services will be tomorrow at the convenience of the family in the Daniel B. Snyder Funeral Home, 529 Center Street, Bethlehem. There will be no viewing.
