She was born Oct. 20, 1898 in Elsinore, Sevier County to Christian and Josephine Christensen Jensen. She married Oliver P. Fitzgerald on May 15, 1919 in Elsinore, and he died in April, 1966.
She and her husband moved to Delta in 1927, and to Orem in 1946. Active in the LDS church, she served as teacher in the Primary, YWMIA and Sunday School. She was a member of the Orem 39th Ward at the time of her death. She was also a member of the DUP.
Survivors include one son, Dr. Paul R."Ray" Fitzgerald, Urhana, Illinois, four grandchildren, two brothers and one sister, Neldon Jensen, Phoenix, Willard Jensen, Provo, and Mrs. Erma Christensen, Spanish Fork.
Burial was in the Provo City Cemetery.
