Funeral Services for Miss Paredes Occur - Young Woman Buried at Calvary Cemetery Yesterday Morning

The funeral of Miss Marina A. Paredes took place yesterday morning at 9:30 from the residence of her mother at 446 North Fourth Street, thence to St. Joseph's Church, where a requiem mass was celebrated by the Rev. Father Lopez for the repose of her soul, which was attended by her family and a large number of friends.

The pallbearers were Alice Yturriaga, Ada Skinner, Emile Granados, Hazel ?, Mary Lusko and Lillian Cunningham.

There were many beautiful floral offerings sent by her many friends and she was laid away in the family plot in Calvary Cemetery. She is survived by her mother and the followng brothers and sisters: Lucy, Ramon, Philip, Angie, Frank, Trinnie, Jesse and Mary.

Miss Paredes, who was 19 years old, was reared in Almaden where her father, Ramon Paredes, who passed away a short time ago, was employed for many years in the mine. Her loving nature and kind disposition endeared her to many friends.

The funeral arrangements were in charge of Thomas Monahan.
