Rachel and Willis had eight children together including: Joseph Eaton Bristol, Delia (Bristol) Ives, Louisa Northrup (Bristol) Slauter, Hascal Cummings Bristol, Elizabeth (Bristol) Barnes, Sarah Maria (Bristol) Clark, Charles Evander Bristol and Thomas D. Bristol. Rachel married Willis on December 17, 1816. Willis died in 1834 at the age of 40 and Rachel lived for 37 more years. She did not remarry.

"DIED
On Monday Feb. 18th, at the residence of Joseph Bristol Esq., MRS. RACHAEL Bristol, aged 77 years. Mrs. B. was mother of eight children, seven of whom are living, and all were present at the funeral except her son Charles E. who met with a severe accident, by which he lost a limb."
