AGED RESIDENT OF AMBOY GONE.
Mrs. "Della" E. Ives, widow of the late Levi Ives, died last Sunday at the hoe of her nephew, W. P. Barnes, in Amboy. She was 85 years of age and had been a resident of Amboy since 1856. Her husband, who was employed by the I. C. R.R. company died about fifteen years ago.

"OBITUARY
Mrs. Delia E. Bristol was born in New York, February 22, 1819. Died Sunday, October 23, 1904. At the age of seven years she went with her parents to Berkshire county, Massachusetts, where she was married to Levi Ives, coming to Amboy to live in October, 1856, and has been a resident here ever since. Mr. Ives was an employ of the Illinois Central for many years, and died about fifteen years ago. She has one sister living, Mrs. Ambrose Slauter of this city, and several near relatives to mourn her departure. Mrs. Ives made her home with her nephew, W.P. Barnes. She was a member of the Amboy Congregational Church, and a consistent Christian. The funeral was held at the Barns residence on Plant street, the services being conducted by the Rev. Joseph B. Kettle. The burial was in Prairie Repose cemetery."
