Raymon was shot and killed while walking down a sidewalk to get a sandwich. He was a consistent honor student at Mission High, a basketball and football player, and was going to attend Humboldt State University on a football scholarship. He was also raised by his great-grandmother. Mission High students, even though he had already died, named him king of their prom as was supposed to be.
