FREEDA G. KING
Freeda Georgette King, 87, formerly of 102 W. Fourth, died Thursday, May 2, 1991, at Fort Scott Medicalodge. She was born June 9, 1903, at Terre Haute, Ind., the daughter of Jack Riley and Kate M. Ward Harris. She married Floyd Wellington King May 9, 1928, at Fort Scott. He died Dec. 15, 1972. Mrs. King was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.
Survivors include a sister, Katherine Jackson, 601 S. Eddy; four nieces; and a nephew.
The Rev. Mark Syostrom will conduct graveside services at 11 a.m. Monday in Fort Scott National Cemetery.
Services are pending at the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home.
