Marie McMillan, 85, of Ooltewah, TN passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at her residence.
She has been a resident of the Chattanooga, TN area all of her life and was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Braly; and a brother, Jesse L. Green Jr.
Survivors include her husband, L.B. "Red" McMillan; four sons, T. Michael McMillan, Memphis, TN, J. Pat McMillan, Harrison, TN, Jeffery S. McMillan and Joe S. McMillan, both of Ooltewah, TN; sister, Dr. E. Ruth Green, Statesboro, GA; special niece, Donnie Braly King, Atlanta, GA.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Chattanooga National Cemetery with the Rev. Russ Fairbanks officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions to be made to the American Red Cross.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. today at Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway, Chattanooga TN.
