Barbara Braly Beavers, 69, of Chattanooga, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2001.
Ms. Beavers, a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, was a graduate of Red Bank High School, class of 1949. She was a member of Calvary Bible Church and was retired from J.C. Penney.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jess L. and Donnie Hamby Green.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence F. Beavers Jr.; children, Donnie Braly King of Georgia, Dave Braly of Florida, Sharon Walker and Cynthia Baker, both of Chattanooga; sisters, Marie McMillan of Ooltewah and Dr. Ruth Green of Statesboro, Ga.; brother, Jess Green Jr. of Cookeville, Tenn.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. on Monday at Calvary Bible Church with the Rev. David Carpenter and the Rev. Jon Lanham officiating.
