8) Starlin Marion Perkins (1839-1912) married Elizabeth "Betsy" Vanderpool.
9) Cynthia Perkins (1842-1901) married Joseph D. Faulkner (1838-1912).

After Elizabeth died, Thomas "Blazer Tom" Perkins married Catherine Bird (1813-1892) on April 3, 1845 in Campbell County, Tennessee.

Eliza Jan Bird was Catherine Bird Perkins grandaughter.
Thomas "Blazer Tom" Perkins was the 2nd cousin of Eliza Jane Bird.
Thomas and Catherine raised Eliza Jane Bird because Eliza's mother died days after giving birth to Eliza.
The biological parents of Eliza Jane Bird were Leander Perry Bird (1836–1884) and
Cynthia PERKINS (1836–1854). Leander Perry Bird (1836–1884) being the son of Catherine Bird Perkins. Cynthia PERKINS (1836–1854) being Thomas' 1st cousin.

Will Book Three page 499. Filed 18th day of Dec. 1893 T C Perkins, Clerk of the Court lists the heirs of Thomas Perkins as follows:
