Bertha married Peder Warning on July 15, 1905.

Mrs. Warning's given name was Berte Josefine, her parents were Bastian and Sofie Johansen of Norway. Bertha's brother is Sofus Baernhard Johansen born Novemeber 6, 1880. Bertha immigrated to the United States from Norway in 1901.

Mrs. Warning Dies

Pullman Sept. 25 - Mrs. Bertha Josephine Warning died at 3:35 am at her home here following a long illness. She was 68.
Born Nov. 14 1884 at Larvik Norway, Mrs. Warning came to Chicago when she was 18. She was married in 1905 to Peder Warning at Chicago.
The Warnings moved to Pullman in 1924. Mrs. Warning was a member of the Ladies Aid society and a former member of the Seventh Day Adventist church at Chicago.
She is survived by four sons. Walter and Norman of Pullman, William of Grand Rapids and Ralph of Chicago, two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Chatterson of Pullman and Mrs. Thelma Busse of Chicago. Fifteen grandchildren and a great granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Monday from Gospel Mission with Rev. Carl Hart officiating. The Rev. Crandall of Allegan will assist.
Burial will be in McDowell Cemetery in Casco Township. The body is at Chappell Funeral Home at Fennville.
Casket bearers will include William Wesbey, Donald Hoyt, Raymond Starbuck and Joseph Cardemone, all of Pullman.
