CLINTON - Effie May Cullers, 63, died at 7 a.m. Tuesday in John Warner hospital, of a heart ailment.

The body was removed to Reeser's funeral home to be prepared for burial. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the Clinton Christian Church, with the Rev. J. Wayne Staley, Christian church pastor of Mt. Pulaski officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.

She was born June 21, 1876, in Sibley, the daughter of James and Catherine Lyons. She married D. W. Cullers July 4, 1896, who survives, with one son and three daughters, F. L. Cullers, Streator; Mrs. Roy C. Fields, Weldon; Mrs. Bryan Willmore and Mrs. Robert Hagler both of Clinton. There are two children deceased.

Also surviving are three brothers and three sisters, Frank and Paul Lyons of Tipton, Ind.; P. N. Lyons, Eureka; Mrs Mabel Crull of Chillicothe, Ill.; Mrs. Edna Ruby, Springfield and Mrs. Florence Shepard [Sheppard], Dixon.

Mrs. Cullers was a member of the Myrtle chapter No. 131, Order of the Eastern Star, the Women's Relief corps and the first Christian church of Clinton.
