Edward was a head motorman on the cross town trolley in Fulton, moving there in 1913 from Binghamton. He joined the post office in 1925, serving 400 rural customers on Route 4. He retired with 30 years service in 1955. Navy veteran of WWI. He married Mayme H. Frawley on July 12, 1917 in Fulton. He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Adelaide Addington of Pilot Hill, Calif; several grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Ernest Hillman of Fulton; and a cousin, Ivan Ford of McDonough.
