William Kimball was born September 29, 1757, in Bradford, MA, the son of Joseph and Abigail (Stickney) Kimball. In the Revolution William served from Bradford, MA in Capt. Joseph Eaton's company and Col. Johnson's regiment. He married in 1786, Abigail Hamlet and moved into the house formerly of Zebulon Converse. He went into business as a miller and a farmer which he conducted until his death. William was also employed in public affairs, he was a town selectman for 12 years and represented the town in the state legislature for 1812, 13 and 14. William and Abigail had five children. He died December 25, 1844, aged 87 years.
