He was predeceased by five brothers, Michales, Dimitrios, Basil, George and Peter. Surviving are his wife Helen Marsis Lyssikatos; two sons, John Lyssikatos and his wife Yvonne of Belle Mead and Nicholas Lyssikatos and his wife Nanette of Marvin, North Carolina; a daughter Thomais Chronis and her husband Theodore of Edison; a sister Helen Tsoukatos of Montreal, Canada; and six grandchildren, Eleni, Konstantine, Elizabeth, Kostas, Georgia and Anastasios.
Funeral services will be 9:00am Wednesday from Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick followed by a 10:00am service at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Piscataway. Burial will follow in Van Liew Cemetery in North Brunswick. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the St. George Church Memorial Fund, 1101 River Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854.
