Lifetime Bristow area resident, Jack M. Hancock, 87, was born September 7, 1924 in Milfay, Oklahoma to Bryant and Mamie (Long) Hancock. He passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at his home in Bristow.

Jack served his country in the United States Navy from 1943 to 1945 and reentered from 1951 to 1952. On September 16, 1949, Jack Hancock was united in marriage with Eva Sanford and to the union, two children were born. Jack enjoyed cooking, gardening, and playing with his grandchildren. But most of all, Jack loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and four sisters, Lorene Natley, Maxine Walls, Barbara Kahl, and Beverly Clayton.

Funeral Services are 10:30am, Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Advent Christian Church with Reverend Al Hutchings officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Memorial Gardens. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bristow Medical Center, 700 W. 7th Suite 6, Bristow, OK 74010 and/or to your favorite charity.
